How much will my score go up?
While this curriculum has a track record of raising scores – a lot – and we’ve seen SAT scores go up over 200 points and ACT scores go up over 12 points, it only works if YOU do!
How long will it take?
The course is designed so you can go at your own pace, fit it into your own schedule and only do the lessons that you need.
That said, most students take 2-4 weeks on the math, 2-4 weeks on the language/writing, 2-4 weeks on the reading comp and a couple of weeks taking a few practice tests.
The crucial part is to take the time YOU need to get YOUR best score. When you nail your score, it won’t matter how long it took to get there. Your achievement will last forever.

There are unwritten rules that unlock even the hardest math, English, reading comp and science questions. Learning those unwritten rules are at the heart of what we teach AND at the heart of nailing a great score.
I’ve heard a lot about colleges going “test optional.” What does that mean and does my son or daughter even need to take the ACT or SAT?
That’s a great question. And a very confusing one. Generally speaking, a great test score will only strengthen your application and generally increase your chances of being accepted. It’s really one more way to show the admissions department that you’re academically qualified to excel at your dream school.
However, if you have excellent academic credentials (GPA, class rank, rigorous college prep courses, AP scores, etc.) that are well above the requirements of your target school, then it might not be necessary or even to your advantage to take the ACT or SAT. It might be a better use of time and energy to focus on the application itself in order to maximize your chances of being accepted.
Most importantly, when you’re making that decision, DEFINITELY CONFIRM that the schools you are targeting are, in fact, test optional. It’s also a good idea to talk with the admissions department. The landscape around ‘test optional’ is changing quickly and there are nearly 4,000 four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. They are all making their own rules.
